ERROR ON NOTICE OF ASSESSED VALUE, TAXABLE VALUE, AND PROPERTY CLASSIFICATION
There is an error in the estimated property tax increase calculation on the notice of assessed value FOR NON-PRINCIPAL RESIDENCE PROPERTIES ONLY. When the millage rate was entered for the calculation on these notices, the decimal was entered in the wrong spot. As a result, the estimated tax increase contains an extra digit. For the correct estimate remove the last digit of the number listed. Corrected notices will NOT be issued. If you have any questions regarding this matter, please contact the township assessor.
