Before doing ANY changes on your property, we request that you contact the township to make sure no permits are required. A land Use permit is required in many instances, such as sheds, fences, etc.

All building, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing permits are issued by this department. Applications are available at the Township Hall or downloaded from the links below. The Building Inspector is available at the Township Hall on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am to Noon. Inspections are normally scheduled for these days.

Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing Inspections are scheduled by calling the Township at (989) 821-9694 Ext: 5. Please leave a message including your name, permit number, jobsite address, and a return phone number. An inspector will call you to schedule the inspection.
